Hey PIU-Guam Students, this is the first edition of the . . . Interim President to Students (IP to Ss) News. Enjoy your Spring Break . . . But don't miss the opportunity it gives you. I have been using internet, email, etc. to stay in touch with the faculty and staff, but so far I haven't done the same with the students. I'll try to correct that. My plan is to send out an IP to Ss, once a week. (I'm using Mail Chimp to do this, so please send a note back to me so I'll know that you want to be on the mailing list.) You guys have a lot of reading to do, so I'll keep my communication short.   3 things this week: Some advice: Be wise. Use this week to catch up on reading, papers, and other work for your classes. Be kind. Help your roommates and friends make the most of their time. Keeping them awake all night doesn't help them get their work done. Have fun, like tonight at the movie time. OK, I know I said 3, but this one is a bonus. Recruit a student. Right now new students have the option of getting a substantial discount. If you are the key person to bringing a new student, you could get a $60 discount. ". . . continuing/returning students who bring a friend with them who is also admitted and begins classes will receive $60 off."  Find out more in The Tide's Current.
